I have learned a lot through climbing mountains and have been shaped by the lessons they taught me.

My own adventure career has been described by many as being diverse and enduring. I guess this means I have been around the block a few times and despite of what mother-nature has thrown at me I have managed to come out relatively un-scathed. This is true but it has not dampened my enthusiasm for exploring the world’s wildest places. Quite the opposite!

I have made my passion my career and to my great joy have been able to inspire thousands of people to get out there themselves and realize their own dreams and ambitions. This is very important to me and is a very enjoyable part of my life. I might never own a Porsche but to me life is about uncovering the secrets that extreme environments have to offer and sharing this experience. The journey so far has been pretty damn amazing.

 I am proud of my climbing roots and continuing ethos of attempting mountaineering and adventurous objectives solely by our own means. Decades of self-supported expeditions have led to a very rewarding way of life and developed into an incredibly fulfilling profession. Today I am lucky to be living the dream on a daily basis.
